Routemaster RML 2700

Max Capacity - 72

Delivered new in September 1967 RML 2700 transported London passengers for 34 years.  In 1993 it underwent a major refurbishment to enable it to continue serving London for a further 18 years, way past its original life expectancy.  

The bus has served Alpha Bus Co faithfully since 2011.

Routemaster RML 2674

Max Capacity - 72

RML2674 was delivered new in 1967 and served in London until 2004.  In 1993 it underwent a major refurbishment to enable it to continue serving London for a further 11 years, way past its original life expectancy.  

 RML2674 had several private owners before being acquired by Alpha Bus in 2021.  During 2020 the bus underwent a refurbishment of its interior to return it to its original 1960’s specification.  

Routemaster RM 2106

Max Capacity - 64

Delivered new in 1964 RM2106 operated in London for an incredible 39 years. 

In May 2003 RM2106 started a new life in Devon, first in preservation and then with The Big Red Bus Co.  Alpha Bus purchased the bus in July 2009.  It still faithfully provides passengers with a nostalgic reminder of the best of British engineering.

AEC RF 504

Max Capacity - 39

A 1953 example of London’s popular RF single deck bus.  It survived in service right up until the very last day of operation in 1979.

Our bus went onto have a varied history after leaving London including time in Gosport and Guernsey.  It was painted gold in 2002 to celebrate not only the queen’s golden jubilee but also that of the RF bus.

RF504 has been a reliable and popular part of the Alpha Bus fleet since 2011.
